Having no sooner got over starring in my own Kingsbury Hospital ICU drama (genre horror) than I decided to embark on a new adventure – Peach, which has been a landmark shopping destination in Sea Point for forever (Marine House, Main Road, 021 4397420) sadly closed its doors on 7th December and we are opening Studio 8 in its place and hoping to continue Shelly’s legacy – a hard act to follow. Bessie and Celia will still be there to greet you plus Alana from the Claremont shop. Please pop in for a visit and a browse. We’ll be open and, hopefully, up and running Wednesday 14th December.
Making Heads Turn
We’ll have some fabulous casual wear on offer – Etoile by Isabel Marant, the quintessential Parisienne must-have label, and our resortwear collection Savage&Wolf – easy-to-wear squashy linen dresses and pants….throw on with a pair of Havianas, a great bag and you are good to go. In the mix will be vests and tees by Golden Goose as well as their crazycool sneakers and a new delivery from Ash. Of course it goes without saying that there will be denim by Current Elliott and, as is the custom of Studio 8, more is always more!
