Studio 8 was founded twenty years ago by Marcelle and Tony Savage. Marcelle, a South African of eastern- European/middle-eastern origin, returned to South Africa having lived abroad for many years, and recognized a need for grown-up clothes with a quirky edge, for intelligent, independent women and men. She has established three very successful, beautiful boutiques carrying labels such as Marithe and Francois Girbaud, Lilith, Dosa, Ash Shoes and now Sienna Miller's new label Twenty8Twelve. For men the London store stocks Haversack, Rogues Gallery, Superga and Oliver Spencer. In all the stores you will find helpful sales staff and a welcoming atmosphere. In 2006 Marcelle was joined in the business by her son Simon in London, and in 2008 Kim Morris in Johannesburg. Kim and Simon have brought a wonderful new energy to the business and our stores in the City of Gold and London are now thriving!. |
